Cooking Together

Calling all Seniors!

Join us for Cooking Together, a fun monthly class where you will prepare delicious recipes, share a meal, and enjoy time with friends.

  • First Thursday of each month
  • 10:00 - 11:30 AM
  • Poplar Education Center located at 1711 Poplar Street
  • Begins August 6, 2026
  • Register by July 30, 2026

Class Dates: August 6th, September 3rd, October 1st, November 5th, December 3rd.

Contact Jennifer about dietary needs, allergies, or transportation. No BINGO on these dates.

Tap into your potential! Join us for Magic. The Gathering at the Lenoir Public Library on Saturday, July 18 at 10am. No deck? No problem! Start your MTG journey here. We will teach players the basics of deck building and game play. At the end of the program, you can even keep your cards and have a chance to win prizes! The program is for beginning players, ages 10-17. As the number of players is limited, registration is required. Call 828-757-1272 or Stop by the Lenoir Library to register.

Early Head Start - The Enola Group Child and Family Services

Early Head Start is accepting applications! Early Head Start is a comprehensive program that offers services to families with children age birth to age 3 and pregnancies. Services offered include: Early Childhood Education, Parent and Child Playgroups, and Health, Nutrition, and Prenatal Supports.
