Poplar Treehouse - Cookie Baking Contest

Young bakers are invited to take part in our upcoming Cookie Baking Contest! This contest will take place during our weekly Poplar Treehouse and Harrington Hangout programs and is open to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade.

Participants will submit a cookie recipe in advance, which will be used during the hands-on baking activity. All supplies and ingredients will be provided. Cookies will be tasted by a special panel of judges, and prizes will be awarded. 

Register and submit your cookie recipe to Jennifer by Monday, February 2nd at 828-758-5536 ext. 207 or j.robson@lenoirhousing.org. 

Join Us for Poplar Treehouse - A Fun Afternoon Program for Kids!

Do you have a student in Kindergarten through 8th grade? We'd love to welcome them to Poplar Treehouse, our weekly afternoon program where kids can play, create, and connect!

Each week, children enjoy activities like games, arts & crafts, cooking, and sharing a meal together.

• When: Tuesday, 3:00-5:00 PM
• Where: Education Center at 1711 Poplar Street

A parent or guardian must complete a permission form before a child can attend. Forms are available at the event or may be completed in advance at our office.
