LHA Executive Director Presents His Rotary Story

Mr. Dineen and Stephen Starnes at the Rotary Club of Lenoir August 14, 2026

Lenoir Housing Authority Executive Director Michael Dineen recently shared his Rotary story and reflected on the people, connections, and relationships that have made his involvement with Rotary meaningful.

Mr. Dineen, a past president and Membership Chairman of the Rotary Club of Lenoir, presented the August 14, 2026, program, highlighting the many ways local Rotarians have made a difference in the lives of others through service at the local, national, and international levels.

His presentation focused on the people he has met, the relationships he has built, and the opportunities to serve alongside others. From filling a bus with school supplies and providing scholarships for Caldwell County students to delivering wheelchairs to children and adults in the Philippines and Ecuador and supporting clean water projects, Lenoir Rotarians have demonstrated a lasting commitment to serving their communities and others around the world.

He joins fellow Rotarians Steven Stewart, David Waechter, John Davis, and numerous others in recognizing the impact that service can have on individuals and communities.

Mr. Dineen's efforts embody Rotary's enduring motto, "Service Above Self," and reflect the importance of building connections and working together to make a positive difference. His dedication to helping others, both in and outside of LHA, is truly appreciated.
